Introduction
Established in 1977, Daltron is one of the leaders in Information Technology and Communications within PNG.
Until recently Daltron’s head office serviced the entire client base from its strategic central location in the hub of the government precinct at Waigani in Port Moresby, but in May 2006 we opened a branch in Lae enhancing our ability to provide a full range of customer services to Northern parts of Papua New Guinea. The 1,340 square metres Waigani office accommodates the services department, training rooms, warehouse, offices and showroom.
In 1995, Daltron became the first ICT company in PNG to commercially assemble computers onshore and we now boasts a capacity of over forty personal computers a day enabling the company to meet high demands for its NiuLogic systems totalling thousands per year. The company also assembles and markets a full range of accessories under the NiuLogic banner.
With a 2005 turnover in excess of K40 million and on target to increase revenues by over 40% in 2006, Daltron is proven to be a financially stable and viable company in a rapidly changing industry. This solid foundation is the result of a total commitment to both clients and Papua New Guinea enhanced by the strength that comes from being a part of the W R Carpenter Group.
One of the major factors in Daltron’s recent successes and growth is the range and strength of the relationships both the business community and our retail personal customers. We pride our ability to provide solutions to every customer large or small.
With our international vendor alliances we have the ability to leverage their technological expertise to provide leading edge solutions. The company has, and will continue, to bring the vast resources of our vendor partners to PNG enabling “country-centric” solutions to be engineered rather than solutions based on external practices.
